The Denver Nuggets started the game in a hole by giving up a quick bucket to Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton from 3-point range before Jamal Murray hit a floater. Giannis Antetokounmpo was fouled before making both free throws. Following a last-second miss by Denver, Monte Morris blocked Middletons shot out of bounds. He immediately got revenge with a make along the baseline.
